Our Mission

The mission of the CSUN Financial Management Association is to bridge the gap between academia and practice by fostering collaboration among scholars, professionals, and students. We are dedicated to advancing both fundamental and applied research in finance, promoting sound financial practices, and enhancing the quality of financial education. Through these efforts, we aim to create valuable opportunities for professional growth and interaction.

THE FOUR PILLARS OF FMA

The four pillars are the core elements of FMA. These four pillars are diligence, accountability, respectfulness, and excellence. They are the building blocks of which each SFA member will foster and carry with them throughout their academic career and life. Together, any student who strives to persistently improve will build a robust and sustainable foundation for long-term success.

Respectfulness

Characterized by respect or deference

Excellence

The quality of being exceptional or superior

Diligence

Dedicated and meticulous effort put into achieving a goal

Accountability
